Today, the balmy weather continued into a new work week and I celebrated by switched gears from my dark hued fall clothing that I've been wearing the last few weeks to donning my favorite Elie Tahari pleated, pique mini skirt in pale blue. I matched it my Prana green and blue striped stretchy polo top with matching headband. Instead of heels or ballerinas, I opted for my comfy blue-trimmed Skechers with blue and white laces. Of course, I ensured I applied a generous amount of Loreal Gelee bronzer that produced a nice even tan. Yes, it was another super cute outfit. I even received a nice compliment on my outfit on my way home from work this evening.
Seizing the opportunity, I chose to walk home and enjoy the gorgeous, warm weather. It's rarely this warm in the evenings in San Francisco no matter what time of year it is so I recommend to everyone to take advantage of it when it occurs. A former male friend of mine called it his happy time or happy place.
Rather than isolate myself with my iPod, I walked home enjoying the sights and sounds along the way. I reached a secluded area of Noe Valley and approached two dog owners chatting while their charges checked each other out. It was quite serene with no car or muni transport noises reverberating through my ears and body. It was as if I were walking in the countryside and seeing two neighbors catching up on the day's news.
I stopped and took a few minutes to show a golden retriever attention by scratching her under the chin and around the ears. The other dog became jealous and approached me also wanting attention. However, another dog owner came into view with his two slim and trim poodles that caused both dogs vere away to sniff out their new company.
As I moved along, I saw a mother taking a breather from trying to push her baby in a stroller up one of San Francisco's famous hills while listening to dogs barking. Further down the street, I spied another mom prepare her two girls for a bike ride around the neighborhood. Still further, women were queuing up for an evening yoga class.
San Francisco is a very beautiful place and I have often thought that I am on vacation.
What a nice post, but now I want to see photos of everything.
